We would like to CONGRADULATE our eldest son, Chris Uhland on becoming a Pennsylvaina Certified Horticulturalist. He will also assist in horticultural issues to the home nursery in Mifflin County.

Welcome to Three Streams Farm which is a locally owned plant nursery located in the heart of Pennsylvania's beautiful Ferguson Valley, near Lewistown, Mifflin County(zone 4).

Once again we are pleased to serve Central Pennsylvania with our annual harvest of trees, shrubs and perennials for 2008 to wholesale clients.  We currently grow as much as we can with out compromising our quality. From time to time we do import plant material from other local nurseries to spice up our selection that we might not be able to grow at the highest level of quality as other specialists.  Please look at our liner availability, many new varieties will be added every season for the more avid gardener or aspiring nurseryman!

The growers at Three Streams have a strong beleif in using native plants and their cultivars in todays residential and commercial landscapes. So we strive to propagate those materials and hope you too, will work with them.

If you have any specific plant needs that we do not currently have in stock just ask. We can easily locate just about anything you could need with our industry contacts.

Never hesitate to contact us, we appreciate hearing from anyone interested in horticulture. Thank you for your interest and business!!!

Sincerely,
Francis L. Uhland, Jr. Owner/Grower

    • Shade Trees 2"-3.5" are available in Balled & Burlaped form. Available varieties are natives or hardy selections suitable for native or urban conditions.
    • Shrubs are usually sold at the 15" through 30" in #3 - #7 containers. Available varieties are natives or hardy selections suitable for residential conditions.
    • Perennials are all sold in a #1 container. These are cut off for the winter and allowed to grow to full potential all summer with reasonable spacing.
    • Our liner selection ranges from bare root cuttings, 1" plug liners and #1 liners. We only propagate those cultivars that are not patented or copy righted. We do buy them in and pot them up into #1 for larger liners.
    • We grade our containers on our own scale where a unit #1 is approximately 1 gallon, but not necessarily exactly 1 gallon. So a #7 is roughly 7 gallons, but not necessarily exactly 7 gallons.
    • Cut flower stems are available of blue and red hydrangea over the summer, winterberry prior to Christmas, as well as decorated Hollies and Dwarf Spruce!

Landscapers, rewholesalers and retail nurseries please contact us for a price list to be faxed, U.S. Postal mailed or emailed to you.  Please have tax ID numbers, etc ready to make quotes much easier.

We also sell cut flower stems of blue and red hydrangea over the summer, winterberry prior to Christmas, as well as decorated Hollies and Dwarf Spruce!
